3 months agoI was having car trouble while doing a long distance trip n I was having long morning already and I went into the Variety store n Kim was amazing!!! She deserves extra kudos for helping me and understanding my issue. Three cheers to her n her coworkers!!

3 months agoI stopped in to exchange U-Haul after my car broke down during a long distance trip and after meeting Kim I felt like I was rerouted on purpose to have her kindness bless the rest of my journey. The rest of the staff being awesome and helpful was an added bonus. Coffee was pretty good too

5 months agowent there today to get a drink and to use the bathroom, and to my surprise the bathrooms have been remodeled, very clean and very modern..10/10

6 months agoI really love this store. The people are very kind and helpful with amazing service. I’m usually a pretty shy person but here the staff make it feel very welcoming and I always feel like I’m able to ask questions if needed. The deli is amazing with service being quick and friendly. I’m always able to ask questions if I need and if I order something I always know that it’ll be made fresh.

a year agoJust went and all I can say is wow. This had to be the best gas station/convenience store i’ve been to. Hot food, bathrooms, and six beautiful gambling machines. Customer service was sublime. If you are ever traveling between D.C and Monticello and want state-of-the-art service, this is the place to be. 5/5.

2 years agoShowed up for lunch on good advice! I often work in this area, and today my client suggested that I stop here for lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me with the menu. They were having a technical issue with the register when I arrived, but were efficiently and effectively helping customers despite this. I will definitely be stopping by for lunch more often when I'm out this way! As far as the store side of things is concerned, they have LOADS of options for snacks, candy, and beverages. The store, kitchen and even bathrooms were all exceptionally clean during my visit. 5/5 service, cleanliness, and stock makes me really wish this store was closer to home for me!

3 years agoThe first time I walked into 208 was almost 10 years ago. I was new to the area and starving so I had a steak and cheese and soon realized how great the deli is and 10 years later it still is the best deli around. I immediately felt welcomed and loved the store. Now that i work here and see how much the store has grown since i first came here is exciting and i cant wait to see what the future holds. I feel blessed to work for such an awesome family who I now consider family.

3 years agoI love the new gas pumps! 💚. & The deli is where everyone can find something they like! Homemade salads (chicken salad, tuna and egg salad), fresh burgers, and steak and cheese! But the best fried chicken in the county if you ask me! You can even call in orders and they will get it ready! It’s your BEST stop before going to the lake! P.S. Clean store, clean bathroom, and the friendliest staff anywhere! ♥️
