7 months agoHad a door dash order the women looked at me showed her the order and she never came back with the food helped about 3 other customers I was waiting about 20 mins for something small that she could of have made right there the restaurant it self was like a ghost town only one person in there and I could even get my door dash order it was only like rice and meat and all the food was right there in her face already ready

8 months agoVery disappointed. I ordered Chicken and Sauce with Djon Djon. I got my order and I don’t know what this meat was but it wasn’t chicken….. and the portion was ridiculously small (I ordered a large). Literally was 4 small cut up pieces of meat. Taste wise the food was good. The rice was good, the meat ok, and the Bunun was way too soft. I only ordered because Jahiti is closed on Mondays….. you want taste, good portion for your buck just stick with them.

Edited 3 months agoI have been eating Haitian food my entire life, and I say this without hesitation: this is the worst Haitian food I have ever encountered. I ordered Haitian patties through DoorDash and picked them up myself. After two bites, I had to spit it out. It was genuinely inedible. 0/10, no exaggeration. Every remaining patty went straight into the trash. Not because I was picky—because no human being should be expected to eat that. What’s absolutely infuriating is that someone prepared this, looked at it, and still thought it was acceptable to sell. That’s not a mistake—that’s carelessness and disrespect. This felt like food that had been sitting somewhere for weeks, reheated, and pushed out the door without a single ounce of pride or accountability. I do not follow hype. I don’t care how popular this place is. If something is bad, I will call it out, and this deserves to be called out loudly. This place is actively disrespecting Haitian cuisine. Haitian food is bold, flavorful, and soulful. What I was served was dry, stale, lifeless nonsense. Imagine this being someone’s first introduction to Haitian food—one meal like this is enough to turn them away forever. That’s the real damage being done here. The patties had the texture of chewing cardboard mixed with wilted vegetables. Somehow, they were dramatically worse than frozen Jamaican patties from the grocery store freezer aisle—by a wide margin. That’s honestly impressive in the worst way possible. This isn’t just bad food. It’s embarrassing, unacceptable, and a complete failure at representing Haitian cooking. Do better—or stop selling this entirely. 🇭🇹💀🔥

a year agoExtremely unsanitary meat storage practices. There is raw meat in large plastic buckets outside of their bathroom. I know this because I went back to use the bathroom and saw that the back area leads to multiple doors that are all surrounding the meat that they have openly exposed. They’re extremely rude and the frequency is low in the establishment. Though it looked extremely appetizing and smelled great, we did not eat their food due to the condition of the establishment. Please don’t be fooled by the front of the restaurant. We did not get pictures, but anyone can go inside and see. They may stop allowing people to use the restroom after this review. And if that’s the case, we know why.

a year agoI mentioned not hotdogs in my order. But they still put it in my food. Other than that the food taste great.

a year agoGreat food! Cooked fresh to order. Customer service was okay. The only bad thing is the restroom is "out of order"😏. Great experience will be back

3 years agoPlace is really close to home so that's convenient. Good food. Best for takeout, not eating in. They don't speak much English so point to tell them what you want and they'll take care of you. I ordered the vegetable tray, since I'm not eating meat right now. It was seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy brown. I didn't miss meat at all.
