We passed this several times as we drove between Sanibel and Captiva and decided to try it. My husband said it was the best meal he had this trip, and we have had some seriously good food! We started with margaritas (super yum) and their homemade guacamole and queso. Our son got the kids taco for dinner, and we split the chimichanga and the carne asada street tacos. I personally found the queso a bit salty but my son and husband loved it. We will definitely be back during our next trip to the island!
A dear friend had been raving about this place for over a year. I had the great fortune of driving down to find out for myself. The drinks were on point. The guac was fresh w/ a nice chicharones surprise addition, the tacos were amazing! Definitely one of my favorite food experiences from my trip. Will be back for more on my next visit!
We really enjoy eating here. The indoor dining area is spacious with a lovely high ceiling. There are plenty of window seats and good spacing between tables. There is a nice bar with seating. There is outdoor seating on a deck area with shade and on the covered walkway near the entrance. Staff wear masks. The food is really good. We have eaten here quite a lot over the last year and tried different things. We have enjoyed our meals every time. There are daily specials too. The cocktails are really good! Happy hour starts at 3pm with a couple of dollars off the margaritas and some other drinks and discounted appetizers. They have a nice selection of different cocktails and good selection of other drinks, and of course tequilas. The servers are friendly with fast personal service.
