See All ReviewsThis was our first time here and we came in over the holidays with a group of 9. Our table was set and ready for us as we called beforehand. We ordered combination meat and vegetable plates for us to share and wow!! Such flavour, delicious food! Even my young son who had never had Eritrean or Ethiopian food was obsessed with the injera and loved everything. At the end of the meal, they even gave him a mango smoothie for free! We will definitely return. Thank you!!
This is an adorable little corner restaurant. The owners are on site and really take pride in their work. It seems to be extremely authentic food, and many of the patrons were speaking in their native language with the staff. I really loved the decor. The food was delicious! We got like a sampler platter and some lamb. Each dish was perfectly prepared and seasoned. It seemed like a lot of Care and attention went into each dish and it would've taken me hours and days to make something like this, so it seems like a great deal! We also got a fruit smoothie. I think it was hard to communicate with the waiter on this. I asked him if it was real fruit or if it had added sugar. He said yes to real fruit and no to added sugar, but it was pretty obviously a premixed product that likely had corn syrup. I think it was just that he didn't understand English well enough to figure out what I was asking.
It’s very fun to have Ethiopian food. The service was very kind and thoughtful. The portion sizes were pretty big. There’s a decent amount of variety on the menu to choose from and they have a full bar.
