Top Reviews
See All ReviewsThis is a small hidden gem. Service was very personable and top notch. Our waitress Anitra was so sweet and helpful. The owner even took the time to check on us and talk for a few. The food was really good. And presentation was awesome. The crab dip, crab egg rolls and crab fries appetizers were really good. Can’t go wrong with any of those choices. The seafood cheesesteak was amazing! It came with salmon, lobster, crab and shrimp, then I added bacon for some more razzle dazzle (ha). It was cooked perfectly. I definitely would get that sandwich again. I look forward to going back to trying other selections. I would love for this place to get more business so please go check them out.
So, where to begin… Came to the water front for Sunday brunch based on all the positive reviews. Let’s start with the good- scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, and the crab egg rolls were very tasty and visually appealing. That’s where the “good” ends. The service was terrible! By far the worse sit down dinning experience possible… The waitress, Cameron, was very pleasant when she first met us. Then a while later the reality of her personality became clear. It took 45 minutes to get an unsweetened tea and a water. I guess we threw her a curveball with the difficulty of the drinks request. While we sat parched and hungry, she was very prompt to service other tables. Watching the other patrons who arrived after us sip their drinks and enjoy their food only made the thirst and hunger grow! There was never any attempt to check on how we were doing, or to inform us of any issues causing the delay. Finally we walked to the bar to ask for our drinks. While inquiring about the beverages, we were met with a snarky, passive aggressive attitude as if we were crazy for wondering how it could take an hour for drinks. The food finally came one dish at a time. As one starving person finished eating, the next person’s food came out. Perhaps they don’t have enough dishes requiring one person to finish their food and then use the same plate for the next meal. Your guess is as good as mine… If you made it this far into the review then maybe you have the patience to wait to be served here. I do not!
I was not expecting to be blown away by this little place but man I was wrong! Pulling up it doesn't look like much... especially on a nasty, cold, rainy day. We came inside and got seated and were pleasantly surprised to learn it was still happy hour! Our server was so sweet and let us ask a million questions and always had a smile on her face. We settled on what we wanted, placed our order and waited patiently. For an app we ordered hush puppies. Those were delicious and had a yummy melted honey butter with them that really put them over the top. Then our meals made their way out and oh.my.word. 🤤 three of us ordered off the happy hour menu and two of us ordered regular menu items. The wings with the 7th street sauce were fantastic...some of the best we've ever had (and we've eaten a lot of wings!). Two people ordered the burger sliders and they were awesome. Clearly handmade patties, none of the pre-made, frozen crap. The shrimp tacos were amazing...perfect little slaw on top and the chipotle sauce was the perfect addition. We also had the salmon with Mac and cheese and creamed spinach and y'all ....I can't even put into words how good that spinach is. The Mac was fantastic too. The shrimp Alfredo was also a huge winner...we couldn't finish it all so we have left overs for lunch tomorrow!!! They said in the summer they'll have outdoor seating and the server said she's singing next Friday night so clearly they have entertainment scheduled...now we'll have to go back to see her sing and try the rest of the menu! The *only* criticism I have is that soda/tea refills were not free and I wish we had known that prior to ordering but honestly everything was so good we didn't even care lol We will ABSOLUTELY be back and we can't wait for warmer weather so we can sit outside on the water! Great job guys...see y'all again soon!
