Easily my new favorite ramen in the area! But I’ll be honest and say I actually prefer their curry. Don’t get me wrong, the ramen is excellent, especially the broth but their curry is so rich and some of the best I’ve had. Very comfy atmosphere as well. The place itself isn’t large, so be aware. Keep it up 808 Ramen!
Awesome ramen spot run by the sweetest family who bring the spirit of aloha to Rocklin! You should definitely check them out; 808 has been my favorite of the new ramen restaurants that have popped up around here in recent months. The broth is delicious, noodles are perfect, and the recipes are novel and unique. The people are very friendly and you will feel welcome as soon as you arrive. I tried the "Broke da mouth" and it was super special, with shavings of parmesan to take the umami flavors to the next level – don't knock it til you've tried it! Love these guys – glad to have them here in Rocklin :)
Never had meat jun in my life and now I can’t stop thinking about it! Lol Spam Musubi was great, rice had some sesame flavor and furikake which is a nice touch. The sauce was just on point, not too strong and not on the bland side either. My kids had chicken katsu and I love how they made it simple in terms of flavor but with a tender meat, its perfection! Always. Husband had loco moco. Great portion and everything’s from scratch so you really can’t go wrong. He just wished the patty had a bit more flavor. And the star of our dinner, the Meat Jun truly surprised us! Super tender beef slices fried with some egg batter. The sauce was a perfect compliment to the meat. Love the side dishes too! (macaroni and potato salad) We can’t wait to go back for some ramen and appetizers next time 😁
