I called to order, the first thing I said was “is your egusi made with fish” he said no. I said “so you can make me some egusi with no meat?” He said yes! I said “ok I want a large egusi with no meat, no fish, nothing” he said ok. I came to pick it up and I said “I ordered the egusi with no meat” he grabbed my ordered and I paid $18.08. I left the restaurant and started eating my food very happy to have egusi with no meat because I don’t eat meat. I ate a nice amount of the egusi while yelling my daughter it taste funny but thinking it’s still no meat. I got toward the middle and found a large piece of meat. I called and spoke to the restaurant and the person that answered said “you told someone we can make egusi without meat?” Then put the person who took my order on the phone. He says to me “I told you we can make it without meat because I thought you meant the meal that has meat” I said no I meant like vegan or vegetarian he said “bro you didn’t say all that?” I literally made it very clear that I didn’t want egusi if it was make with fish or meat? Why not make sure we are on the same page instead of assuming? Obviously you did not care and are very unprofessional. When I went to get my refund they gave me a refund then tried to argue with me because I had already ate most of the $4 fufu. I would not recommend this place. You can’t understand the customers questions but you understand how to call people bro. Then they said the egusi is made with seafood but the meat I found was clearly beef.

Somebody call public health! No way you over charging and skimpy. Now with bugs too...... count the days good people. Feed me like you feed yourself or don't feed me at all.

Wow! My first time coming to this place was yesterday. I enjoyed a meal with my friend in the car. I didn't see seating. They have EVERYTHING! Their food is AUTHENTIC!
