Really quite incredible how such simple ingredients can come together to form something so delicious. The pita bread was perfectly toasted, paired with the juicy grilled pork meat, and the yogurt sauce with onions that cuts right through the fattiness and saltiness. A perfect street food, and a must-try if you’re in the area!
You don't go for the ambiance, you go for the taste! As usual, for us anyway, we found this place on our last day in Athens. 🥲 You know you found authentic when the locals are all standing around outside either wating to order or to pick up their food. It was excellent. Plan to take it back to your residence as it is not a dine in establishment. We managed to order a pork and a chicken soulvaki. They were exceptional and very reasonably priced.
An excellent souvlaki spot distinguished by the precision of its grilling. The skewers are consistently cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and deeply flavorful without excess. On every visit, the gyros has already sold out, which speaks volumes about its popularity and turnover. Judging by the quality of the souvlaki, expectations for the rest of the menu are naturally high. A refined yet unpretentious place that delivers consistently well-executed, high-quality street food.
