4 months agoCame in with my husband as he was looking for a new pair of running shoes, but we ended up spending an hour here because Sam was so wonderfully thorough! He took his time to explain the pros and cons of different shoe shapes to my husband, recommended some great insoles, and provided some advice on how to manage his flat feet. Highly recommended!

5 months agoSam is knowledgeable and experienced after 30+ years. Having scoliosis, he knew exactly what was best for me. It was my first time there but will certainly be back. Prices are reasonable, highly recommend Active Footwear.

5 months agoIf you need a set of custom orthodica Sam is the man to see. Wbat he does and what he knows is unreal. I had bad ones before from an incompetant man in Floram Park, dont go there please. You need to see Sam at Active, trust me. I have a bad ankle thats caused me major issues. After Sam carefully created the mold and put the finiahing touches on these orthodics and fitted them into the New Balance he recclmended, I left the store walking like I havent since I injured my ankle. I cant thank him enough. Im going to live in these and hopefully rebuild lost muscle and elimiate pain. Thank you Sam. Youre an amazing human and an artist in your craft! Very very greatful.

9 months agoI had been suffering with plantar fasciitis for over a year. Been to podiatrist had custom inserts and no relief. Tried PT as well as acupuncture with no results. Was considering surgery when someone told me about Sam. He provided me with the proper insoles both for sneakers and my dress shoes. I have been pain free since I meet Sam.

a year agoI went to Sam for help with chronic foot cramping and ankle pain. He listened to me and was very knowledgeable about footwear and orthotics. He selected an orthotic for me and customized it for my shoe, ensuring proper fitment. A week later and my pain is basically gone! Incredible service

a year agoSam was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and has a passion for sneakers! His recommendations were on point and his service was above and beyond the sale! He understood my need for more sole support than the sneaker could offer, so he created a fore foot stiffener to decrease the stress on my front toe due to it being fractured!

3 years agoSam is the best!!! I had tingling on the heels of my feet for a few months when I went to see Sam. Not only did he give me the perfect sneakers for my feet, he also taught me what I should be looking for when purchasing shoes. I went back a few days later to purchase inserts for dress boots. Sam has saved my feet! I have no more tingling and he is known in my house as the foot whisperer. I 💯 recommend going to see Sam to fit you in the perfect sneaker for you, or to get great inserts!! Thank you SO much Sam for your knowledge, time and patience. I really learned so much from you!!
