See All ReviewsGrew up going to Camp Moore as a tent camper, on both sides as the camp expanded to the larger lake. Used to hang out at the South end and watch the airplanes come and go. Beautiful area but didn't think it was open to the public. I thought it was privately owned, plus the asbestos issue they had there could potentially be an issue. There are actually trails there now?
A beautiful, clean part (Aerohaven section) of Black Run Preserve. We enjoyed a great time with our nature friends.
Nice part of Black Run Preserve. Great trails -- really well marked -- and interesting circuits around the old Aerohaven Airport, which dates back to the 1950s. Trails are suitable for hiking, running, and biking. Great for dogs. My dog is a fan of the local deer population. Some evidence of quads and other off road vehicles on the wider trails and Aerohaven itself, but not on the marked trails. Sugar sand in places.
