I recently visited Afghan Darbar and had an overall average experience. The food was okay, nothing particularly memorable. I was especially looking forward to the Shinwari karahi, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations — it lacked the authentic flavor and depth you’d normally expect from this dish. The atmosphere and service were decent, but the food quality needs improvement to match the pricing. It’s not a bad place, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Tried the mix grill and charsi karahi—karahi was full of flavour and really tender 🔥 Mix grill was good too, nicely cooked overall. Solid meal, would come back.
We ordered there Famous Kofta Kabab, Chapali Kabab and Shinwari Chicken. The food is awesome, chicken is fully tendered and soft like butter, chapali kabab is perfect ever, crispy on top and soft inside, roti is best crispy and hot, mint raita is very good. Overall everything is good, environment is good and service is also good, I would recommend this place for family dinners.
