Despite the numorous bad reviews, I had the pleasure of ordering a combination dish of Julio rice with oxtail and curry goat, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and served immediately. The staff explained exactly what I could order with my choice of meat, which made the process simple and welcoming. My food was prepared quickly and came out perfectly. The flavors were rich, authentic, and memorable. When I asked about their drink selection, they gave me a wonderful explanation of soursop—a drink I had seen a Jamaican coworker enjoy but had never tried myself. After tasting it for the first time, I can confidently say it won’t be my last. Africaribbean truly delivers a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Between the incredible food, the attentive service, and the cultural authenticity, this is a place worth supporting. I highly encourage others to do business with them—you won’t be disappointed.
Tasty Spinach Stew with goat meat and fufu. The stew just needed a little more palm oil. Otherwise, my dish was yummy.
I have been here several times in the past and the service and food are usually great. I went yesterday and the jerk chick was extremely dry and didn’t have that jerk flavor I was used to from them. The cabbage and rice and peas were good and the cashier/server was great. I was very disappointed this time.
