My experience at Aggies Restaurant was extremely disappointing. The marinated fish and rice we were served were far below acceptable standards. The fish arrived cold and had a strong rotten egg taste, suggesting it was not fresh and may have been sitting for at least a day or two. It was completely inedible. The rice was clearly reheated and tasted like it had been microwaved, with no freshness whatsoever. On top of that, despite requesting to dine in, our food was served in to-go containers, which felt careless and unprofessional. Overall, the quality of the food and the lack of attention to basic service standards made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The condition of the food raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
I have eaten at this restaurant, or take out for YEARS. The food is Delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing during the day, and party, and/or a listening vibe in the evening. My favorite meal is the 'Fillet Talapia', with the 'whole Talapia fish' seasoning. Absolutely palette appealing. I enjoy the plantains, and rice and chicken, or spinach and beef, or goat. The menu is full of tantalizing meals, and a Sunday Special. You can't go wrong. If you haven't tried 'Aggies Restaurant', you are genuinely missing out on a vibe, the atmosphere, good people, and one of the best meals in North Dallas, Texas, the Best African dishes. PERIODT!
Amazing customer service, even better food, the owner was Amazing and great hospitality. I had spinich plantine with goat meat and future. Will definitely go again. Very authentic un processes food loved every moment.
