Food is tasty. I liked their friendly service
Finally had djon djon rice here for the first time last year and it was amazing. This mushroom umami flavor is just indescribable and it is worth the hype. The portions are great, the food is warm and delicious and you will leave satisfied. Thank you for this restaurant. I was able to experience a food and a culture I've been hoping to for a long time.
Food was delicious!! Authentic Haitian food....Son was very nice!!! But mom not so nice ...wanted him to double the prices of each plate ....since I was not a local customer to put it as politely as possible.... all 3 plates were loaded! Great tasting Ox tail, Chicken, & Pork dishes!! Of course she had no idea I have over 400 thousand plus following on my food reviews, but first impressions means so much! At the end he did not end up charging me $25 a plate it can out to a little less.
The lady that served me was an absolute sweetheart. Professional, pleasant and accommodating. The black rice and jerk chicken were delicious! I also had a fried meatball and cabbage on the side. Hearty and authentic Haitian cuisine. If you’re in the area it’s worth the try!
We stopped through on the way back to NYC. Awesome food, good vibes, good service, and huge portions. we'll definitely be back.
I ordered for online pickup, got there 10-15 after I placed the order. Everything was cold and stale. Like it was made early in the morning. Not even warm. Asked for yellow fried plantains instead of green and got a hard log of over ripe plantain. I think it was boiled earlier in the day and was fried for color. Instead of greeting me when I came the lady asked another worker why I didn’t announce myself when I arrived, not knowing I speak Creole. Never coming back.
A variety of Haitian dishes. The food aroma brought us in. The nice attendant, Clotide, was helpful in describing the options. All the dishes were delicious. They made some while we waited. We tried the lambí, griyo, diri djon djon, diri ak pwa, Mac & cheese. We’ll be back. Best Haitian food in LI we’ve been to.
Amazing haitian restaurant , it will not disappoint. The owner is amazing as well, she’s nothing like those tipical Haitians who will not understand you need to taste something to see if you like it first before maki g a purchase. **All orders are made fresh**. You get great customer service. I drive 25 minutes to go and purchase food even tho I have other haitian restaurants that are 10 minutes away.. their fried goat meat is amazing .. jerk chicken is good and really spicy 🌶 lol. Macaroni taste good as well.. their. January 1st pumpkin soup is amazing …
