I had such a beautiful experience at Almazaq Restaurant in Paterson! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. You truly feel like family there. We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was delicious and full of authentic Iraqi flavor. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, the kuba was rich and flavorful, and the dulma was seasoned to perfection. The Guss (Iraqi shawarma) was juicy and packed with flavor, the chicken tikka was tender and perfectly grilled, and the mix grill was generous and beautifully prepared. We also ordered the fresh mint lemon drink, and it was so refreshing — the perfect balance of sweet and tangy! To make the experience even more special, they surprised us with complimentary sweets — Kahi and Gemer, a traditional Iraqi dessert that was absolutely amazing. Such a thoughtful and generous touch! Everything from the food to the hospitality was outstanding. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Iraqi cuisine and exceptional service in Paterson. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Delicious food, and most important is it is all authentic iraqi food. Staff is super friendly and everything is fresh. We have been returning customers for years, this is definitely a great choice
We met friends here for lunch and tried everything from the breakfast menu, plus a couple of soups - absolutely delightful! Worth the trip off the beaten path, highly recommend.
