2 months agoAmazing Experience at Al Shami! I had such a delicious and authentic Middle Eastern meal at Al Shami in Jacksonville! The hummus was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the mixed grill was cooked perfectly — every bite was amazing. The flavors really transported me to classic Mediterranean cuisine. On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern food!

2 months agoThe food was phenomenal. Everything here was so good. I think it’s the best Mediterranean food restaurant we found in northeast Fl. I honestly have to say everything was really good. The dish for two people was perfect - plenty with leftovers.

2 months agoI ordered chicken shwarma, beef tongue, and falafel. Everything was delicious. Falafel was superb. Authentic pickles i.e. vinegar & spicy. Chicken shwarama was wonderful & I did not expect french fries. Savory beef tongue was tender. It was served on a bed of fresh salad (not just typical iceberg lettuce) it included tomato/red onion & fresh herbs & dressing. If you're looking for a home cooked/authentic meal...go to this place. Staff was very professional & kind! I hope they open a restaurant in Savannah GA :)

3 months agoMy party and I ordered alot of food and everything tasted amazing! I personally got a chicken Shwarma that came with fries and yogurt sauce with was SUPER garlicy and I love that. They also had complementary sweetened black tea which is a plus. I got there a bit after it opened on a Sunday and it was fairly empty, other days it may be fuller. The location was clean and service was quick but the young server was a bit antisocial. I would still go back just for the food and try other stuff on the menu!

3 months agoWe ordered food to take home, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. The portions were generous, the packaging was clean and well organized, and the presentation was still very nice even for takeout. Great quality and taste — definitely ordering again. Highly recommended!

9 months agoNever been here to eat inside. I know it's okay for small to larger groups. But, please come here. One of the best Persian food I JAX. Been coming here for years, before current past two different ownerships. If you visit, don't go anywhere else

9 months agoThe food was delicious 🤤! Our server was very friendly! I didn’t take any pics of the tea but the warm tea free of charge was also great. We will definitely be back to try more items from the menu.

9 months agoWe had a fantastic experience at Al Shami Restaurant in Jacksonville. We ordered the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious, tender, juicy, and full of authentic flavor. The service was superb, very friendly, and welcoming. You really feel the hospitality here. One big plus: everything is halal, which gave us peace of mind and made the meal even more enjoyable. The location is also super convenient, just off I-95, perfect whether you’re local or just passing through on a road trip. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful halal Middle Eastern food with great service!
