You cant beat home cooked Italian food. If you haven’t gave Ala Maria’s a try, you’re missing out on a hidden gem. It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to eat here, I ordered take out because I was craving some real home made gnocchi.. I should have taken photos before inhaled my food because it was so good.
Got dinner for the family, they loved the spaghetti and meatballs. I had the gnocchi and meatballs which was very good. I personally love my food with lots of garlic, but still very tasty. The owner and waitress were both lovely people and very friendly. Will definitely go again!
Very good food and atmosphere. Had a beer while the waiting with the wife. Try it!
Horrible place. You pull in and see a hole in the wall and think, I'm sure the food will make up for it....No!! It took over an hour to get get our food, and we were the only people in there. Our beer was warm, they served processed salad dressing. And our main courses were clearly just caned, processed food. If you don't believe me, go ahead and check it out. Let me know how it goes. Horrible service even when it was just us two. Worst food I've ever had. You'll see if you're brave enough. Don't say I didn't warn you. 🤷♂️
Not a fan. The sauce tasted like crushed tomatoes with too much salt, and I like salt. They gave us white American bread. The ravioli had an extremely thin smear of cheese, not good at all. The cooler was broken so no cold beer. The waitress, Kim, was very nice. She is the only reason that I gave one star. Don't waste your time.
After looking to try this restaurant for some time, I finally had the opportunity. The atmosphere is modest and seating limited. I'd been concerned about not getting there early enough to get a table on the occasions of being in the area. Arriving at 5:30 on a Saturday, had no issue getting a table. Driving past, one may not be sure, from the outside, that they are open. Just try the door, it's worth it. When it comes to Italian food I've a high bar which the meal met. Pasta fazool, lasagna, gnocchi and meatballs were all fantastic and authentic, in-house made. Provided a great value for cost. Looking forward to returning.
My wife and I have ordered food here quite a few times! All the food is great, service is great, the wait time for your food is normal for the quality of the food. It’s a very cozy atmosphere and a perfect place to have a small party. We are getting dinner there tonight!
The food is absolutely delicious. The sauce is the closest that I have found to my grandmothers. The portions are large. The service is a bit slow, but they make everything fresh as ordered. The salad and the bread is nothing that you cant buy in a store. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Smells like an older grocery store. But the food is worth going there. Have plenty of time.
