Edited 3 months agoBest chicken and fish I’ve tasted in a long time. Brought some to a party and everyone absolutely loved them! Everything on their menu taste awesome! I come all the way from Troy just for their chicken and fish. How the chicken and fish stays crispy on the drive home is amazing! Prices are very reasonable and the people are friendly and take pride in their food! Best of all no drama and no bad attitude! Clean, fast and fresh. Order ahead so you don’t have to wait. We usually come on a Sunday during football weekend. It’s worth the drive! Highly recommend!

4 months agoDecember 2025 Christmas day I come in here for 2pc fish, 4pc whole wings, and fry corn $20.00 but the problem is the wings were very very small, catfish portions very small, and the corn was old and burnt. I've going here for over 14 years and hasn't ever been this bad. Disappointed loyal customer 😕

Edited 6 months agoAnything you order fried here is gonna be really well seasoned and crazy crispy. So crispy, it stayed the course after an hour in the car- how many spots can say that about their fried food ? Now, I can only speak to the chicken, fish and the skramps, but if you didn’t have to travel an hour away, this crispy might chip a tooth. The service was friendly, accommodating and efficient. No attitude. And when I mean well seasoned, it’s on the fence leaning towards the saltiness of the sea. If that’s your ting- welcome home. If not, I think there’s a bland spot across the street calling your name, Karen. It’s so good, my bro (who used to live in OP) drives over here from Troy (hour + round trip) for the fried goodness here he. If I lived closer, my cholesterol would be at defcon 4 because I’d be eating here a few times a week, it’s that good, hood food, Ken.

10 months agoHorrible double battered over cooked Wingdings they were the absolute worst. We ordered chicken to go with our baked beans and potato salad the entire meal was ruined because of the weird chicken.

a year agoAlaska fish and chicken in Oak Park is outstanding. Great customer service, well-mannered and it didn't take forever! Very fresh fish, clean and it doesn't smell very fishy when you enter!

5 years agoSome of largest and best shrimp I've had. They were tender and fresh. Most places don't actually serve "jumbo" shrimp to the size, but these were actually JUMBO!! They didn't over do it on the lemon pepper seasoning either, it was just right.
