See All ReviewsMoussaka was super yummy and a perfect portion size. This is my place to go for a hot grown-up drink like the one in the picture. Would recommend!
It was our first time at Alexander’s. My husband had not really had Greek food before we got an appetizer and then both had gyros. They were excellent, and we will be back. I saw a lot of people getting food to go, which I think is another great option sometime when I just need a quick meal and I want something delicious!🤤
I’ve always loved Alexander’s Greek Cuisine and was excited to stop in for their $10 gyro lunch special (and the “kids eat free” offer). The food was delicious, and one of the servers — a very kind woman — was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, and made our lunch feel special. What felt strange, though, was the service dynamic. The man who seated us said he’d be right back, but he never returned. Instead after a while of waiting, the woman came over and took care of us, and from what I could tell, we were the only table she was serving while the man handled all the others around us. He checked in warmly with every table except ours, grabbed our check and brought it back without much interaction. It left me feeling like maybe he didn’t want to serve us, which was disappointing — especially since I’ve always really liked this restaurant and came in excited to support it. Regardless of a lunch special, I’d expect not to be treated like we’re second tier. I still want to give credit where it’s due: the woman who stepped in truly turned things around and showed what great hospitality looks like. I hope management recognizes her kindness and also takes note of how those small differences in treatment can really affect a guest’s experience.
