See All ReviewsMake reservations for the Friday night prime rib. It’s really tasty. It’s great to have this little restaurant so close. Alex’s Place has an almost familial atmosphere. The patrons are friendly and local. My drink was stiff but not overpowering. Farnaz is the sweetest server. My wife seems quite pleased. *Recommended*
All the charm of a VFW coupled with premium prices for sub par food. Went for the prime rib and couldn't believe the pricing so ordered a steak. The steak was flavored of charcoal as they haven't cleaned the grill in years. Was expecting better considering others reviews but honestly couldn't find any redeemable quality in it. The service was slow and inattentive, but yes she was friendly just not very capable. In fact she gave us back our debit card with someone else's. Wow
We were back in the area traveling through and decided to try and find another local place for lunch to try. The food looked good, as well as the reviews. GPS said we were very close. So we went for it. The place and parking lot was very small. We double checked to make sure we were in the right area for the entrance. The doors were open and a couple vehicles in the parking lot. Once inside we walked all around and couldn't find a sole. No customers or employees...no one. We waited a few minutes and tried to see if there was movement in the kitchen and nada. So we went further into down town and ate there. Sad disappointment it looked good in the pics. Misleading in person.
