The rice’s sauce was perfectly balanced with heat and sweet and it tasted great. The shrimp was almost too good to dip! Lightly battered, crispy coating with a perfect consistency when chewing. Thank you man.
Good eats, good people, good vibes. Never had a bad experience. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I was just passing by to pick up a script at CVS right down the road. Out of the side of my eye…. I caught notice of a small building. A restaurant? “Shorties?” I’ve never noticed it before. I quickly checked Google, and yes! It is a restuaraunt! How interesting. It’s so small. Their menu is perfect for a blue collar breakfast/lunch. All sorts of really great breakfast sandwiches, fries, burgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks. I settled on a chili dog + chili cheese fries. I can EASILY say - these are the best chili cheese fries I’ve ever had - and it’s not particularly close, either. It’s a massive portion, and the fries are super crispy & airy with great flavor. Chili & cheese on top with garnish. Absolutely delicious. The chili dog was good too. I prefer them over anything else I’ve had locally (not gonna mention the most popular hot dog spot locally). I believe they may be a black owned business as well. I love to support anyone with a dream & the work ethic to accomplish it. I’ll be back. 100%
