See All ReviewsI love this place. The guy that’s there cooking all the time makes the best bread. Need to ask his name next time we’re there. The food is great. Ever dish I’ve had is wonderful. Had a great conversation about his birds this last time. Everyone should eat heat all the time very healthy food. Love love love. ❤️
We stumbled upon Alyan's and were surprised to have one of the best meal's we've ever had in Philly. My wife was smitten by the lentil soup and my daughter loved the mixed veggies and cous cous. The grilled zucchini was so good we ordered another round of it! I also got the grilled tomatoes and jalapeños, which I know I'll be longing for until we return. As vegetarians, we were totally satisfied and highly recommend it for anyone. The service was also really friendly.
Alyan’s is a place I recommend to every vegetarian I meet in Philly. This unassuming storefront opens up to a cozy back patio and serves delicious middle eastern fare. The food is always fresh, tasty and prepared quickly. Best grape leaves I’ve ever had. It was a particularly frigid winter day, and as a thanks for our patronage the owner even sent us home with complementary baklava. Can’t recommend enough for an affordable, satisfying veggie-friendly meal off South St!
