See All ReviewsFolks, I’m new to the area and, until recently, Italian was my favorite cuisine. Angelina’s is the real deal when it comes to Italian and the best Italian option within a 5 mile radius (in my opinion). The owner is a NY Italian and knows his stuff. We catered from the restaurant for a party and folks loved the food. He biggest knock on the place is that the decor is substandard. It’s not the best place to sit with family for a nice dinner. Also the price of pizzas is just a little high. If I could give the owner advice, it would be do a market review of prices to ensure they’re in line with competitors. I’d also recommend upgrading the restaurant decor as soon as possible. Even if the restaurant stays in the same location, the decor should resemble a bistro and be inviting and even romantic. Service could be improved slightly also. Great food though.
About 2 weeks ago I ordered a pizza to go. Got home it was the wrong pizza so I called and the manager said next time you order we will give you the extra pizza we messed up on. Today I go in to get my replacement pizza and another large pizza and explained what I was told. The cashier went to the back to verify this and the same manager said they were to busy to make my replacement pizza but I could pay for it and they would make it. I thought that’s odd so I asked to speak with him and he would not come out front and said he was to busy. I was shocked! I decided to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere. I will never deal with this place again poor poor customer service.
I know everyone loves this place, but honestly, $20 for a large pizza is a little crazy. Even still, I'm willing to pay it if it's a great pizza.... but for me.... it wasn't. Very bland. But that's just my personal taste. Everyone else seems to love them.
