Food was fantastic and delicious, service was great and quick. We definitely will be dining at Angelo's again on our next visit to AC. Thank you🙏 from your Canadian friends.
Best pizza on the boardwalk, hands down. This gem is closer to the end of the boardwalk so many people miss it, but it’s worth the walk up (or down). It also has the best buffalo chicken pizza I ever had in the tristate area! Staff if chill and welcoming — our waitress was even joking with us! It felt like a nice atmosphere.
Really good GF crusts and the pizza comes on a tin with its own little pizza cutter to protect it from cross contamination.
Food was great. But the kitchen staff are extremely ignorant. When I heard my waitress go back and tell them my order (Cheesesteak with no tomatoes) and I heard an ignorant kitchen cook say “well then it ain’t no hoagie then is it” Which was extremely unnecessary, I’m just here to eat my food, didn’t ask for a side of judgment. If they are gonna talk like that they can say it more quieter. They need to be more mindful. Our waitress was great though, she could smile more.
Great pizza! Very family friendly. Clean. Consistent flavor for both dine in & takeout. Great location on the boardwalk.
I highly recommend Angelo’s Pizza for a good, homestyle Italian meal. I first went there for a slice of pizza for lunch, where the friendly waitress persuaded me to come back for their expansive dinner menu. I’m glad I came back, as I had a delicious chicken parm dinner, which also included a salad. The owner, Angelo, came out and engaged in great conversation. He was so nice that he even gave our table a salami and cheese platter on the house. All the food tasted great, the staff was very homely, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only issue is that you have to pay a lot extra for all this. As much as I loved the food and ambiance, $30 for that chicken parm is ridiculous. Other than the high prices, I had a very good experience at Angelo’s and I give it my recommendation.
The waitress was so kind and has a great personality! Angelo (the owner? He was cooking...) is a sweet older gentleman. He knows his Italian food! I told him I would give him 5 stars. Thanks Angelo's in Ocean City, NJ!
First time visiting and happy with our slices. The extra $1 for toppings is well worth it. The mushrooms on my husband's slice was more than generous. The pepperoni on the kids slices were plentiful and I loved the spinach pizza. Delicious! Prices were more expensive than expected, especially $6 for a small lemonade. Staff was friendly but slow to give menus.
