See All ReviewsI stopped by for lunch and discovered a delightful and reasonably priced eatery. They offer a warm red salsa and a mild avocado salsa, both of which are delicious. I tried the lunch special tamale plate topped with a sunny side egg—flavorful and satisfying! The staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful lunch; this will definitely be my go-to spot when I'm in the area.
We wanted a quick, late Mexican lunch. Googled and found Anita's with decent reviews and decided to try it. Seated immediately. Waitress very friendly. Chips and salsa were good. They serve green sauce which I enjoyed. Chips were hot and crispy the way I prefer. Lunch menu was adequate for options. I did tacos al carbon/beef while my husband selected the Texas burrito/beef. Plates came quickly. Plenty food for lunch. Meat was tasty. Service was great. Very pleased with our first visit and will definitely consider stopping by when we are on Conroe. Lunch prices were very reasonable considering how everything has gotten so high lately. Margarita was good and not so very strong with liquor. Glad we tried it and will consider again.
This location is close to our home and it’s our go to spot. Oliver is great, so helpful. Food is always good, and the beer is always ice cold. Try the Daniel Fajitas- they are wonderful. My husband says they are like his mom’s home cooking!
