Excellent customer service, excellent custard. Two awesome workers took care of nine orders of custard, multiple scoops were flying out of the cooler in a neat and professional fashion. Brought back memories of the good old times. If you are visiting Nauvoo and you are a human being you should visit Annie's custard! I'm glad they had a non-dairy flavor, and delicious seasonal flavors!
My wife and I came for custard ice cream at the end of the day and were so impressed, we came back the following morning for breakfast! We had the delicious Midwestern Skillet and spectacular 9:37 Waffle. (Named after the time when original owners would close the doors) We even bought the day old cinnamon roll, because it was the last in the case before closing and it did NOT disappoint! We ate it, even though we were not hungry. We LOVED it all!!
In August 2025, we visited Annie's Custard & Cafe in Nauvoo, Illinois. We were in Nauvoo for the Nauvoo Pageant, a theatrical production that happens nightly during the Summer. We ordered Panini sandwiches and the food was delicious. The Nauvoo Pageant was great, and thank you to Annie's Custard & Cafe for our delicious dinner before the Nauvoo Pageant.
