I hate leaving a negative review, especially since this place has so many great ratings and even my neighbors speak highly of it. That’s actually why I decided to give it a try. I ordered a NY White pizza and selected the “crispy” crust option, assuming it would still resemble a traditional thin New York-style slice. I also added garlic knots. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The garlic knots tasted like they may have been store-bought frozen rolls. They were dry, lacked parmesan, and had a very low-quality garlic flavor—almost burnt-tasting without actually being burnt. The pizza itself was also disappointing. Instead of a flavorful, crispy crust, it came across as dry and bland—more like cardboard than a fresh pie. There’s definitely a difference between “crispy” and “overly dry,” and this leaned heavily toward the latter. The seasoning tasted similar to what was on the knots, which didn’t help. I try to be mindful about what I eat and tend to notice when ingredients don’t taste fresh. This felt like something I could have put together at home with lower-end store ingredients and had a better result. It also seemed like the kitchen may have been having an off day. While I was there, two customers spent their entire lunch break waiting without receiving their food, and another customer was given the option to accept an incorrect pizza or wait even longer for a remake. Lastly, the wait time stood out. Waiting over an hour for a pizza—especially one that didn’t taste fresh—was frustrating.
I love this place! I go there so much that I don’t even need to order anymore🤣. Locally owned small business that deserves your support. Oh and the Christmas tree cake pie is on point!
Our first time here. The food is delicious! We ordered Fried Mushrooms as an appetizer. We ordered Deluxe Supreme Pizza,1 slice of Cheese Pizza, and the Kid's Spaghetti and Meatballs. Service was great! You gotta go! You'll be glad you did!
