When in to sell some silver. They were giving about 60% of the real value.
I went into a store to pick up a few things. It was busy near the entrance, but the guy at the register greeted me. I asked a staff member for a specific lamp shade and a couple of other items, and he pointed me in the right direction. While I browsed, he seemed to be watching me closely. He mentioned my interest to others who suggested I check upstairs. As I explored upstairs, a woman and a man (probably customers) joined me. I noticed the same staff member keeping an eye on me as I moved around. When I found a piece of painting I liked, I asked about the price. After he reached out for help, he was moving around the painting when one of the paintings fell and hit me. While I stood there in throbbing pain, he barely reacted. A woman rushed over to check on him, ignoring my discomfort. Feeling mistreated, I decided to leave. Even though this happened months ago, it bothered me enough to leave a review. Despite the store's large vapid items and my small purse and casual outfit, the staff treated me suspiciously. Their behavior was disrespectful and discriminative. Their actions could lead to more serious problems like complaints or lawsuits.
This is one of my favorite stores in the area. They have a wide selection, such a variety of coins, jewelry, antiques of all kinds, dolls, memorabilia, collectibles, crystal, glassware, you name it. A lot of history in the items here, it brings you back.
