Passing through Tulsa and super happy to have found this lunch spot. We ordered takeout: one arepa bowl with jalapeño chicken and the other with jalapeño beef, along with garlic sauce and jalapeño sauce. The food was ready on time, fresh and hot; great portion sizes. The plantains were tasty, the avocado was fresh, and the charred jalapeños and sautéed onions were delicious.
This spot, nestled within a building shared by four other restaurants, is a definite must-try, especially for its Venezuelan fare. I sampled three of their signature arepas, and while all were delicious, one absolutely stole the show: the Pabellón Arepa was "fire"—truly outstanding! My order also included the Arepa Pelua and the Queen Arepa. Though the Queen Arepa was my least favorite of the trio, it was still enjoyable, and the fact that all three were delicious speaks volumes about the quality. Pro-Tip: Don't miss out on their passionfruit drink; it's the perfect sweet and tangy accompaniment to the rich arepas!

Chicken Avocado Arepa— was searching for arepas (bf has never tried one before) and landed on this Tulsa gem. EXCELLENT service, the cashier gave us huge samples of the hibiscus unsweet and peach sweet drinks to try. You don’t service like that anywhere. Clean and open atmosphere, comfortable. I knew I wanted to try a chicken avocado arepa which was a classic and the portion was perfect. Did have to take most of mine home. You walk into the building and it’s actually two restaurants, both Peruvian but one with arepas and one with platter meals! Def has a lot to try and we will be back to fill our tummies and get our electrolytes post workout.
I stumbled upon this place while on a hungry quest to find some good, clean, and affordable food in the middle of a very busy day. I was driving up and down those Mid Tulsa streets and nothing was catching my attention, but then I saw the word, “arepas”. Arepas??! I didn’t know we had those here! We have gone back 5 times in the last 6 moths, and it’s not even in my immediate work or home area. But I will happily drive a little bit more for the juicy beef, the sweet plantains, covered in melted mozzarella of the Pabillon arepas. My husband loves the trio platter, and I always get the yuca fries. Their service is amazing and the atmosphere super cool and laid back. Everything very clean and classy, and lots of space for seating and parking.
I love arepas, but they can be hard to find in Oklahoma. When I traveled through Tulsa and found the Arepa Bar Tulsa, I knew I had to give it a try. I was very pleased. The arepas were excellent. I ordered the pabellon and it was fantastic (fried plantains, black beans, and cheese). The fried plantains were also a favorite. The green garlic sauce took it next level.
The best Latin food in Tulsa, variety of food for all tastes and variety in natural juices, good service and fresh food. 100% recommended. They can make your Arepa however you want it. You won't regret it if you visit it. I would go back again…thank you!!
This place is wonderful, there’s more than one restaurant inside this place. My husband and I ate at two different restaurants. Is our second time coming here and the food is delicious and well presented. The place looks very neat and clean. There’s music playing in the background at all times. You get to seat and order wherever you want. I ate at Arepa Bar and everyone was very nice. I got the Queen Arepa and it was delicious, the chicken was a little hard for my taste but it was still delicious. Definitely recommend the Tequeños (is like a cheese stick but better:)). The ladies come and check on you after you get your food. Super nice ambiance and great service.
