3 years agoThe decline and downfall of the empire Remember I still loved the place back then I saw this restaurant start up from just a tiny space Then bloomed into a really great place Portions were nice and large, Ají just right, paired with salad and fries, a slice of cold-cake tier Though some may disagree whether it was just right for the children I know as a child I loved the heat, but in the beginning it did seem inconsistent at times One time; still as a kid, it was overwhelming hot, still finished, and I liked it My stomach did not Staff at one point was pretty good At its peak it truly was something, dare I say the best in the area? Maybe Since that time more restaurants have sprouted Tastiness differs, but it seems this specific market is unsustainable in the area Turn over rates might be better off, left out Sure the place barely resembles the once proud peak of the dish, but I still like passing by every now and then Hope they can make a comeback!

5 years agoPlace is disgusting. Dirty, bathrooms was dirty as well and no paper towels to dry hands. However food was very good.

6 years agoThis has got to be the worst Peruvian restaurant I've ever eaten from. The service is horrendous, both from the staff and from the owners. The Pollo a la Brasa is flavorless, tiny and burnt. They are stingy with their sauces as well. Its very disgraceful as I am Peruvian and live down the block. I try to give it a try every couple of years and nothing changes. I rather walk or travel to further restaurants than give my money to this establishment again. So shameful for us Peruvians who take pride in our food.

6 years agoBest Peruvian Chifa food. If you are from Peru,you will love the Tallarin frito con pollo y verduras. The arrow Chaufa de pollo...really good. I will keep visiting this place as many times come to Union City. Note: Other plates, I don't know, I didn't try yet other plates.

8 years agoI have been going to this restaurant for years and the quality of the food has never changed. Their food is just absolutely delicious. I also enjoy that they deliver. The portions are great to share, especially if you like to eat family style. I really recommend Arriba Peru, you won't regret it.

8 years agoFood was pretty good. Had seco (really tender and well seasoned) and a delicious chicken soup. The lady serving was very helpful and attentive. Clean setting, and good prices.
