My wife and I were pretty excited to find out that there was a Chilean restaurant in Orlando thinking we don't have to drive down to Miami to get authentic Chilean food anymore. My wife is from Santiago so she was pretty excited to try out some of your empanada's but unfortunately that didn't happen. Austral Cafe's website doesn't really make it clear that this establishment is only one of many different pick-up or delivery eateries hidden inside what looks like a warehouse. So if you're looking for Austral café you won't see any names on the building just the address. i had to call to make sure I was at the right place and I guess I was so we went in and it's basically a counter with a tablet and a selection of the eateries in this warehouse and Austral Café wasn't on there so I went to the website to order and were not able to order because everything was apparently sold out and it was only around 1 pm. We drove in from Tampa to get a taste of what all the reviews say is great food but unfortunately we drove away extremely disappointed. If the website explained that this was strictly pick-up or delivery we would have been better prepared about what to expect. Sadly, this is the reason for the 1 star. One more thing, you really need to be more active on social media and give updates like telling followers you are out of stock on everything. The last post on Facebook was on Jan 14. I hope your business succeeds and you open a sit-down restaurant.
We have ordered several times, and man o man the steaks are so tender and full of flavor( and real pieces of steak, not chopped), fresh tomatoes and avocados and also the homemade bread!!!, also their desserts are amazing!!! Thank you for cooking seo good
