It's not the food I disliked (because I didn't get the chance to sample any) but I thoroughly dislike the business ethics of this establishment. I was there on Monday afternoon (Dec. 22) only to find a notice that they are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. I returned on Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 23) only to find the doors shut and the lights out. But no posted explanation as to why they were closed on a day they were supposed to be open. I will never return.
Went to Austrian Peppers tonight for the first time. While waiting for some friends I was talking to the head guy, i presume the owner. He was very nice - very helpful and you know that he has a heart for authentic Austrian food. I have yet to find a good German restaurant and was very surprised. I would highly recommend going here. You will NOT be disappointed.
best schnitzel and potato salad in tampa bay, very small location, hope they are here to stay!
