See All ReviewsAmazing burger, best burger in pflugerville hands down. Kind of a hidden gem really. Its hidden between the Shell gas station and behind the Prost bar. Amazing food, service, speed and especially price.
Great burgers and wings at a great location, operated by a GREAT owner 😁 Always a stop on my visits to North Austin. Can't wait to stop by again, definitely worth the drive! (from South Austin) 5⭐
Ok. So this food truck is parked behind Prost-a very nice bar that I will be giving 5 stars to on their site. The parking is in front where you go inside, go upstairs to where the bar is then go out the back, go downstairs and there is the food truck! (I suppose you can try parking on the street in one of the 4 or 5 parking spaces there but you still have to go upstairs for the drinks.) So, we get to the truck where this guy is none too happy to see us-no smile and he was a tad rude. We asked if he can put lettuce and tomato on the smashburger and he says no-that isn't how its made but we could get the veggie sandwich that does have it. No, we didn't want that so we ordered the smash burger the way it comes plus a hotdog and some wings. We paid over $40 for this and noticed the sign that says that 20% gratuity is automatically added so that the workers can get a "living wage". 20% gratuity for a guy who never leaves the truck to deliver even to the picnic tables there on the same level as the truck! So after he gets our phone number to text us when its ready we go back up the stairs to the bar where the drinks are to wait. It wasn't long but then you go back down the stairs to pick it up from the same window we ordered from and go back up the stairs while juggling the 3 paper boats of food. I mean, couldn't they provide trays at least?! The bar and the food truck are obviously working together since one provides the food and the other drinks. The burger was not bad but honestly it was missing the veggies. Just meat and cheese stuffed in bread is not a burger imo. The wings were also ok. The dog was mediocre and the best thing were the fries-thats the 1 star. The 20% gratuity seems to me like the owner doesn't want to pay their workers fairly in the first place so they take it out of the customer forcibly. Next time we want to go to Prost we will be sure to eat first as we will not be returning to Auzzy's for anything.
