Good place to take someone to from out of town/kids. Good view and good value for breakfast. The food is a hit or miss. If their food is a little more consistent, it would be perfect. Still enjoy coming here every now and then

I know Aviator’s is well-known for its breakfasts -- and we can testify that it is very good and a great deal -- but I also stopped by the other day for lunch. Aviator’s is unique; it is essentially located in the control tower of the Sacramento Executive Airport. The decor is from another era and the numerous floor to ceiling windows allow you to watch the small planes come and go on the tarmac. Like breakfast, lunch is a good deal. I settled on the "Exclusive," which resembled a Philly Cheesesteak. It came with a side and I chose onion rings. The sandwich was very good,and so were the onion rings, although a bit greasy. My son had the Aviator’s burger and enjoyed it as well. Service was prompt and friendly, quick with drink refills and to ask if we needed anything else. Hearty lunch with iced tea for two and out the door for $40.00 before tip. Check it out and enjoy a step back in time.
