2 months agoI haven’t had real Turkish coffee in years… this place has it. Tried Beef Shawarma wrap amazing!!! Chicken Shish Tawook wrap that was great too. Price were decent too

2 months agoI had SUCH a great experience at Azar’s Mediterranean Grill today! The food was absolutely amazing—my wrap came out hot and crispy like it was made fresh to order, and everything was perfectly seasoned. The fries were golden and crispy, and that garlic dip?? Chef’s kiss 🤌🏽 What really stood out to me though was the service. The woman working there was so kind and patient, took her time explaining the menu, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The whole place was clean, had a really nice aesthetic, and just gave good vibes all around. It’s not super close to me, but trust and believe I’ll be back next time I’m in Virginia Beach. I already want to try more of the menu! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fresh, flavorful, and a healthier option compared to typical fast food. 10/10 💯

4 months agoReally enjoyed my falafel wrap with fries here! The atmosphere and service were both great and there’s a good number of vegan options. The vegan options are clearly labeled as well. Definitely will be back!

5 months agoThis place is absolutely amazing! The ladies at the front of the house greeted us with huge warm smiles as if we were family and the restaurant was spotless. My husband and I were full of questions and the woman who took our order was very patient, kind and hospitable. The food was just as wonderful too! This is officially the best baked falafel wrap I’ve ever had! The vegetables were fresh and crispy, and every bite was flavor-blasted with sheer deliciousness! Creamy hummus, thick tzatziki, and the most mouth watering flavor stuffed into a single wrap. My husband had a beef shawarma wrap and I have never experienced such complex flavors from beginning to end. Hands down best Mediterranean food experience I have had in VA. My father was a CEC (Certified Executive Chef) and had a greek restaurant; to master this style of cooking is no easy task. We also got cookies, and they were soft, fresh, delicious and not overly sweet. A restaurant experience like this is rare these days, and I highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem! Great service, excellent food and dessert! Wait no longer, hurry here today! Thank you 🙏

8 months agoVery nice and clean establishment. The shawarma was soooooo good! Seasoned perfectly and plenty of meat and I had a glass of wine with it. Definitely will be back again!

a year agoA very delicious lunch today. The food was great. I like the gluten free options, would love if they can bring in a gluten free bun for the lamb burger. O'doughs has an excellent sandwich bun, taste the most like real bread. It's kept in the freezer (wont spoil) for toasting. Hint! Hint! I appreciate that you offer great food at affordable prices. Everything was fresh. We will be back!! That's a promise.

a year agoWent for a gyro. Nice ambiance, greeted quickly. The menu has the typical Mediterranean fare. All the plates I saw looked well plated, and the food was appealing. I liked the gyro I received, but I felt it was a bit light on the meat. Everything else about it was terrific. Served with a ramekin of garlic sauce and a ramekin of hummus, along with ketchup. The restaurant was filled with mostly guests in their fifties or above. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The only downside was that it took a long time to pay the bill. That kind of neglect is annoying.

2 years agoWent there with my son on a week night and we both liked that we were able to be seated right away. I got the Tofu Wrap and it was delicious! The service was great and we never felt like the waitress was hovering, even though they weren't busy. (It's easy to be overly attentive when busy is slow, but I didn't have that feel.) I had my card ready as soon as she came back with the check and she proceeded it right at the table. I didn't feel awkward doing the tip with her there. Like this restaurant and will go back again.
