This is a small town diner located amongst a few other choice eats in Bethalto, Illinois. B-town is that beautiful Sunday morning after church, Tuesday morning after golf league, Wed afternoon lunch break place that is efficient and yummy to boot!. We have eaten here twice for breakfast and it does not disappoint! Both of us were happy with our savory meals but if you want a sweet waffle or stack of pancakes, you definitely have options. My Gentleman had a meat skillet which was loaded on a base of country friend potatos. I had a meal of eggs, bacon, and biscuit with gravy. The biscuit is fluffy and soaked up the delicious gravy as a side to my perfectly scrambled eggs and bacon. My Gentleman added a side of B & G just to get a bite because I told him I was not sharing this time. My meal was under $10 as they run specials daily, and his was a little over. Do yourself a favor and stop here for a hearty breakfast next time you're passing through. Support small business in small towns, you won't regret it.
They brought out a lovely hot delicious plat of all you can eat fried chicken. $14.50 My mom asked to try it so I gave her the tiny wing and I ate all my food. We were discussing buying their chicken by the bucket for our family of 8, for dinner and it took forever to get a refill of my Pepsi I had eaten my whole plate and waited to flag someone down for a refill she finally comes over and I ask for more Pepsi and if I could some more of my all you can eat chicken but just dark meat. She says I seen you give your mother the wing so we're not honoring the all you can eat. So I ask for the price of a normal fried chicken plate and not the all you can eat and just tells me it is the same price either way and gives me one thigh and tells me no more. So dont let any one try your food and dont expect to get free refills on soda quickly either.
Have been here several time now and have enjoyed everything from lunch to breakfast. Service is always good and the prices are always reasonable unlike most restaurants now.
