They may not have mushy peas but the fish has a crispy golden batter and no salt. My daughter cleaned her plate of Bangers n Mash. Decent gravy too.

Went there last Saturday and Debbie was great, her husband Richard came from the back to introduce himself. Great family feel with super friendly staff. Oh yea, almost forgot! The 5 stars is for the food! Who knew Escargot could be so fine. I am planning to work through the menu.

Don't be put off by the off-beat appearance. Food is fantastic - made on site, tasty and doesn't come out of a plastic tray, good variety of beers, friendly service. And it has a poster of Radio Caroline. Can't ask for more.
