Baghdad Market in Sterling Heights is hands‑down one of the best spots for fresh sandwiches, meats, and authentic Iraqi groceries. Their food tastes just like home — everything is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. The chicken shawarma and falafel are top notch — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and always served hot. You can smell the freshness as soon as you walk in, and the bakery section is incredible. The fresh bread and pastries coming straight out of the oven are unbeatable (just like in the photo!). The store is clean, well‑stocked, and the selection of Iraqi and Middle Eastern ingredients is excellent.
