See All ReviewsI was in the area and wanted a pupusa. I had never been here before so idk why I just thought it would be a little hole in the wall with counter service and a couple small tables. Anyway, it is a sit down, table service restaurant with a full bar in the middle. I was on my lunch break and I figured ordering 2 pupusas to go would be 5 or 10 minutes. Well they took 30 minutes to bring me my order. But I am glad I waited because they were so good. The pickled red cabbage on top with the original corte (pickle cabbage slaw) was a nice touch.
My family and I walked into Honduras when the door opened. We did come later than we would like to 8pm on a Monday night but it was WORTH IT! A few things we liked: the "Jugos Naturales" actually tasted like the real fruit, not a packet mix and they serve the BIG CUPS. The prices are very affordable compared to other honduran places we have tried. TIP: The Small baleadas are HUGE! I mean big enough that we ordered 3 and got halfway thru eating each one but they were so good. The server was great, she checked on us and was very friendly as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend going there. The only reason why I didn't give a 5 star atmosphere was because of the loud music but in retrospect, thats what Honduran restaurants are known for and I love it, just a little less loud. Viva Honduras! Viva Baleadas Express!
Great food, great environment! Authentic! Cant have better zhonduran food anywhere else!!!
