2 months agoWe online ordered a meat lovers pizza and chicken Alfredo. As soon as we rolled up to the place, I knew it was gonna be good. The smell of the pizza was tantalizing all the way to our place. It was delicious, I like spicy, but those jalapenos were SPICY lol, we only wanted them on half,so that was a bummer, but I got a whole pizza to myself! I hate crust, but that Parmesan garlic spread made that crust like a bread stick and soo good. The whole slice went down. Ironically, our baby likes spicy too,(obviously didn't give the jalapeno pieces) hand-to-fist woofed it down, baby approves! Pizza was awesome! Wife ate the pasta and said it was also amazing. I only had a few bites, but I can agree. I felt like I had a dam good meal and the price was right. I will be returning!

2 months agoI stopped by Bambino's Pizza in San Diego and it was a solid spot for a quick and satisfying pizza meal. The place has a simple neighborhood vibe—nothing fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. It’s the kind of casual pizza shop where you can grab a slice, relax, and enjoy classic comfort food. The pizza was really good with a crispy crust and plenty of toppings. I especially liked how generous the portions were. They also have a pretty big menu with wings, pasta, sandwiches, and even giant pizzas if you’re ordering for a group. Overall, Bambino’s is a reliable local pizza spot with good prices and hearty portions. If you’re craving classic American-style pizza and casual comfort food in San Diego, it’s definitely worth checking out.

6 months agoJust moved here to San Diego and came across this place.. I ordered just 1 slice of cheese pizza to try it out and let me tell you the pizza is sooo good!! The cheese pull 😍.. this is now my new go to spot for pizza..the staff is really nice.. I seen they have other Italian food as well, pasta, etc.. and I’m sure is really good too.. I definitely recommend trying this place out! 🥰

6 months agoGot The Works pizza and it was LOADED with toppings. Literally ate it for days. Sauce super tasty. It appeared care and effort was taken in making it instead of the usual sloppy manor of pizza making from others. Ready on time. Highly recommend. Is now my go to neighborhood pizza spot.

a year agoBought a Club sandwich and a Bambino's pizza. Didn't care for the flavor of the pizza although it was nicely made. The sandwich was ok, tasted decent, but was every disappointed to find that it only had 3 slices of luncheon meat on it. All I could really taste was the bread and onions. There wasn't much on it. It's a janky little take out only location, but they do ok with what they have.

a year agoI recently visited Bambino’s Pizza, thinking it was associated with the Bambino’s Pizza #2 on Palomar since their branding, menu, and even the pizza boxing looked identical. When I picked up my order and asked about the connection, the employee seemed genuinely confused and said they weren’t related. It was a little disorienting, especially given how similar everything looks. I ordered two 20” pizzas: The Works and a Pepperoni, over the phone for a Wednesday 2 pm pickup. They gave a reasonable 25-minute prep time, and parking was hassle-free with only one person in front of me. I also requested a bottle of ranch, which they provided after some delay. Pretty easy pickup overall though. Where things went downhill was in the actual flavor. While the pizza and dough had a familiar taste, the sauce was unexpectedly sweet, and I could definitely taste sugar in it. Even the ranch had a slightly yellow tint and tasted sugary. If you’re a fan of a sweeter sauce, this might be perfect, but it’s not what I was expecting. Overall, the ingredients and toppings were good quality, but the sweetness threw me off. I’ll likely stick to the Bambino’s on Palomar moving forward.

4 years agoWe don't do Pizza so much, but my daughter loves pizza from Bambinos. We ordered the Garlic Cream sauce instead of tomato sauce. This time I ordered 1/2 veggie, 1/2 Meat Lover with extra cheese size Large 14". 🍕 Boy did they deliver! It was thick and loaded; even to the crust you can see veggies! Check out the photos! My husband regularly orders the Greek salad maybe once a week to every other week. He loves it! 😋 🥗 Especially on warm days it's refreshing to have a nice, cold salad. The picture is a medium-sized order. The total cost was about $31.
