The owner is extremely nice and energetic. You can tell he loves what he does and that energy is absorbed into the food. Food is tasty. Restaurant has a very Puerto Rican vibe. Great place, great food!
Wow!! Just wow!! And that’s just based on the food alone. Add Chef Mike’s charisma and beautiful spirit and this place is a gem. We stopped in today, as we were visiting a family member at Bridgeport Hospital, and we’re so happy that we chose this place for a quick bite. The pernil is some of the best I have ever had. The are con gandules were on point. Both not dry and full of sazon/flavor. Chef Mike has an incredible story of how this place came to be and you can feel the soul in this place as soon as you walk in and are greeted by Chef. Can’t wait to return.
Highly recommend this restaurant for its quality and friendly service and the quality of its food. I needed a tray of pernil for an event and when I called, the owner was very honest about the pricing and sizes of the options. Didn't try to upsell me even though he probably could have. He hand-shredded the meat and had it ready to go. I was late to pick it up and he even waited and made sure to keep the tray warm. The pernil was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely keep this place in mind for the future!
