I’m trying to review all the places we love before we move across the Country and had to shout out this little deli. They have served up so many tasty meals for my family over the years. Always fresh, always perfect! Thank you so much for it ALL!
Experienced this little hidden gem on Friday! Super friendly happy people 🥰 and family owned business. I got 2 of the popular Pick #7 sub bread was perfectly toasted, veggies perfectly cut and fresh and that chicken was just right with the spice and just the perfect amout of heat. For Less then 16$ for 2 subs is unheard of. Will be making this my new spot for fresh sandwiches.
Banh Mi Givral Deli is a well known stop for Vietnamese Banh Mi in Kitchener, ON and has earned its reputation over the years. The banh mi are flavorful and satisfying, with buns that are crispy and fresh. The downside is that the outside of the bun often feels a bit too oily, likely from the mayonnaise. The teriyaki chicken has good flavor, though the chicken can be slightly chewy. Still, the prices are low, portions are solid, and it remains excellent value for money. The place itself feels dated and a bit dull, and at times it comes across as slightly dirty, which takes away from the experience. That said, it is very much a local monument in Kitchener, ON and the ladies serving customers are friendly, polite, and well mannered. Service is quick and straightforward, focused on getting good food out fast. Cash or debit only. Despite its flaws, it is a spot many locals keep coming back to for affordable, familiar Vietnamese Banh Mi.
