See All ReviewsThe food overall was solid. Next time I’ll try the fish sandwich since that’s what they’re known for. The fried catfish meal had good flavor but I wish the fish wasn’t so slimy under the breading. Maybe it needed to be fried for 2-3 more minutes. The hush puppies were overcooked. My kids said the burger and wings were good. The fried mushrooms had a slight coconut flavor to them. The fries were good. The service was fast. I think I only waited about 6-8 minutes even though they were packed on a Saturday. I’ll be back with an updated review when I try the fish sandwich!
The picture is of the fish sandwich with fries and cole slaw. The sandwich has one pound of fish. Everything was delicious
We drove 45 minutes to try their famous fish sandwich. We had heard good things about it, but it was even better than we expected. First of all, the sandwich is huge. Secondly, and most importantly, it was delicious! It was loaded with fish and topped with onions, pickles, tomato and tartar sauce. We each ordered a sandwich, but could easily have shared one. We will definitely patronize them again. It was well worth the trip.
