See All ReviewsWe ate at this new restaurant today afternoon and were delighted to find out it’s clean ambiance and options of dumplings. They have veg, chicken, shrimp, fish besides the usual pork.
The food was generally good, with generous portions that made it easy to share several dishes across the table. Most items were enjoyable, though the Xiao Long Bao did not stand out, and the scallion pancakes were not to our liking. A few dishes could benefit from slightly stronger seasoning, but overall the flavors were pleasant and most of what we tried was tasty. Prices felt a bit high compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. Ordering is done through an app, which is fairly easy to use. The seating is plain and simple, with comfortable booths. One drawback was the lack of napkins and other basic items at the table, and flagging down servers could be challenging at times. Despite a few misses, the experience was solid overall.
The stir-fried garlic green beans were absolutely delicious. We also tried the soup dumplings, they were good, though they could use a bit ginger flavor. The beef in the noodle soup was very tender, and the noodles were excellent, the broth would be better with less vinegar and a bit more spice. Overall, it’s a great spot that’s above average for Chinese food. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. Just note that weekend dinners can mean a long wait, hopefully they’ll add an online reservation option soon.
