2 weeks agoAmazing…. Literally amazing food. After trying the whole menu, I’d recommend the beef tips, but honestly anything you pick is absolute fire! Same goes for their desserts. They also have different daily specials that are not apart of their normal menu to keep things fun!

Edited 3 months agoEdit: 2/21/26: had the Shepherds Pie today… amazing!!!! (Ate before I could take a pic…) Saw how good their menu looked so decided to try to see how we could use them to give us a break cooking family meals once every week or two or so. Saw chicken and dumplings and jumped in on it this week. $35. Fed all 3 of us. Came with bread! Great stuff! We’re going to make this a routine!

8 months agoHands down, the best food this VFW has ever had! The staff is friendly, quick to take your order, and the food always comes out fast. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Everything has consistently exceeded my expectations. The prices are so reasonable that I don’t mind coming by several times a week. And let’s talk about that cookies and cream cake… WOW. That dessert alone is worth the trip and, it’s life changing! This has officially become my go to spot to eat in Pearland.

8 months agoAbsolutely amazing food!!! Lindsay runs great specials and has a good menu. I’ve eaten several different things and enjoyed every single bite! The atmosphere of the Pearland VFW canteen is lively and enjoyable!

8 months agoGreat food, great service. I have tried the jalapeno burger, the reuben, shrimp po-boy, and monte cristo sandwiches. All were really good. The specials bring great variety and value. I’m looking forward to the cajun pork chops. Don’t skip the deserts: cheesecakes, cookies, and brownies. All fresh and delicious. The menu is well written with a comprehensive description of what will be served. The owner is a wonderful person with a well trained and courteous staff.

8 months agoIncredible food and service. So far I have eaten there 4 times and tried something different every time. The fried cheese sticks are massive, the cheesecake is OMG good. The service is quick and friendly. No issues at all.

8 months agoBarracks Bites Cafe was amazing! The service, the food and atmosphere were top notch. Lindsay and Kim are incredible! I couldn’t choose what I wanted because it all looks delicious, so, I asked Lindsay to surprise me! They cooked up the most delicious French dip sandwich with a yummy au jus sauce and fries for me. I devoured it within minutes it was so friggan good! My husband had the jalapeño burger and fries, I tried a bite and the burger was perfectly cooked and juicy and the jalapeño bun gave it that extra kick! Amazing!!! Customer service is top notch! Highly recommend!

8 months agoThe mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! Tried the Rueben last night and it might be a new favorite! The owner is super down to earth. They offer great desserts too!
