See All ReviewsI spent a few years in Germany in the service. It is very rare to find anything close to actual Germain food in the states. This is the real deal, the Rahm sauce is not exactly what I get in Germany but the Schnitzel is spit on and the sauce is close enough. Next time I will go with the Jager version. All the sides were great, the service was friendly and the place had a lively qnd friendly crowd. I cant wait to visit again when we are back in town !
We enjoyed the atmosphere, music and service at this German restaurant. We were celebrating our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We wish they had sauerbraten and cabbage rolls on their menu. I ordered the heaven and hell schnitzel and it’s supposed to be veal, which is very tender but mine was not-it was tough and even though they said it was real I’m not sure it was – other than that, all was great!
This is definitely a top 5 place in my opinion for restaurants in Bryan/College Station. Good German food, favorite being the Jagerschnitzel and Spätzle. Beer is also very good and honestly pretty cheap especially for the liter beers coming in at only $15. Atmosphere is usually pretty quiet which is nice. We have been probably close to a dozen times and never had a bad experience. Love this local place.
