a year agoI was on the way to another fish n chips shop, saw this one and immediately detoured the people there were friendly ordered and took less than 10 minutes, they give a generous portion of fish maybe 5 or 6 pieces! Not my style of breading but still goodFries are crispy, 8.2 out of 10 would come back

a year agoGreat food but I did not appreciate how the Asian man spoke rudely to the cook. Have some respect for your employees, especially while customers are there!!

2 years agoYes, it's all about the fish and chips here at Bayside, but I decided on the Smoked Beef Sandwich for $9 and some change. It's a no frills sandwich, with just the chopped smoked beef on a bun with a side of BBQ side. A few pickles here would have been nice to break into the beefy flavor, which was good, but the meat was heavy on the salt, especially towards the end of a bite and chew. It also would have been nice if it were a little juicier. The bun was good and effective. I would have preferred if they served the bun warm, however. It would have complimented the warm beef better and the sandwich as a whole. The BBQ sauce was good and just tad elevated the flavor of the sandwich. It was a decent beef sandwich overall, I can't help thinking of those sour pickles, though. Service was friendly enough but not much for conversation, and the place is very simple inside with a few tables. Like I said, no frills, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Edited a year agoThe staff are very polite and nice.They have good mac and cheese if you get a side of fries,make sure to know that they will give you a lot of fries.If you can't find a place to eat, I definitely recommend going to this place

2 years agoWe ordered the fish & chips and chose the catfish nuggets. The portions were big enough to share. The coleslaw was also tasty. Bonus they have Crystal Hot Sauce! The inside is a little sparse and bright but the staff is friendly.
