See All ReviewsVery disappointing experience at Baytown Seafood on Woodforest. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and unfortunately the food explained why. Our meal came out undercooked, which is unacceptable, especially for seafood. The interior also looked very run down and poorly maintained. Overall, the quality and atmosphere did not meet expectations. Do not go there.
Wow. We arrived to find a totally empty restaurant. One server, and I’d presume there was a cook in the back. I remember when the Baytown Seafood places were popular and busy. Not so much anymore. I tried to order a beer and was told they had no license to serve beer, but it was BYOB. Really? The food arrived and most of the fried elements were good, but my two guests had ordered grilled fish and one sent his order back as it was overcooked. I miss the original family that owned these restaurants. They cared about the food and customer satisfaction. No mas.
The worst crawfish I’ve ever had in my life. Undercooked and their supposedly spiciest flavor had no taste or spice. I would bet that they cooked these crawfish in just water without any seasoning and afterwards poured on “seasoning liquid”. I can’t stop thinking about how disgusting their crawfish was. Seriously don’t eat at this place!
