Good could've been a bit better, bouillon balls were a little cold in the middle, packed flavor, and was a bit dry; fish was over salted but everything else was great
Service was top notch, super friendly & communicative. The place was absolutely empty. Food wasn't good at all, especially for the price.
First time going in was last week on Tuesday. Called today 6/13/25 to make an order over the phone to carry out. They didn’t have a menu online so I called to see what other options there were. Was told I needed to go in and order from their menu in person. Huge inconvenience in my opinion. If the owners see this or even care about their ratings, thank Ana for not going above and beyond by bringing in a returning customer and losing business. When I went last week, me and my partner were the ONLY ones in that establishment at lunch time (where you’d think it would be packed bc of lunch rush) 3 stars is me being very generous. Called Lake Jackson seafood instead which is out of my way and received excelled customer service.
I would think being so close to the ocean, the fish served would have been super fresh. The service was friendly. Our order was correct. It was not too busy at lunch. We were surprised that no food was offered while waiting for our orders. Their lunch portions did seem small in comparison with other nearby seafood restaurants we visited in and around town for the week.
Very nice seafood restaurant with friendly and informative staff. It is a little pricey, but worth the costs . Their fried catfish and oysters are the BEST!
The shrimp and oysters were just ok, nothing spectacular. The fries were soggy and could have used several more minutes in the fryer. The slaw was ok. Nothing bad, but there's better.
My husband and I were there back in March. I ordered the fish(can’t remember the kind at this time) with the shrimp. It was delicious and seasoned perfectly. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger platter and said it was good as well. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
This place doesnt stand out when driving down the road. We stopped after finding another restaurant closed.tue regular fried shrimp were very good and fresh, but a little pricey. My friend gotta few fried oysters and said they were terrible. Another friend got grilled fish, but it was covered in spicy seasoning that overpowered the fish. I ordered some crawfish and asked for mild seasoning. I couldn't stop crying and sniffling because it was so spicy. Stick to the fried shrimp and you'll be fine.
