had a very disappointing experience here and will not be returning. I called to place an order for an egg platter. The woman who answered the phone picked up as if she were answering a personal call, not a business. There was no greeting, no professionalism, and the overall customer service on the phone was so poor that I actually considered not ordering at all. I still went ahead and picked up the food like I normally do. I paid, brought the food home, and began eating. After already eating some of the potatoes, I discovered a black hair in the food. I currently have no hair on my head, so it clearly did not come from me. I called the restaurant immediately. The woman offered to remake the food, but once I find hair in something I’ve already started eating, I’m not interested in a remake. I simply asked for a refund. She told me I had to bring the food back, which I did. Once I arrived, instead of simply refunding me, she tried to suggest the hair came from me — despite the fact that several of the men working in the kitchen clearly had black hair and the hair was visible in the food. I also took photos. The issue here is not just the hair — it’s the lack of accountability and poor customer service from beginning to end. I was already on the fence about coming back after the phone interaction, but this situation sealed it. I will not be returning and will be contacting the health inspector.
